Master’s Assistantship

In US those receiving master’s education are viewed as individuals who aims to develop their expertise in a certain subject and to enter the work life after graduation.

 

Master’s education generally lasts 2 years or less. Assistantship is the most widespread financial aid which master’s degree students can take advantage of.

Assistants are only allowed to work maximum 20 hours a week. The pay for work varies from school to school. While some schools waive the school tuition and pay a monthly salary to assistants, some cover only a portion of the tuitions. Some may only give a salary.
