Assistantship for master’s degree and it’s responsibilities

While types of assistanships vary from school to school, every school offers assistanship in one or more types. The most common among these are Teaching Assistanship, Research Assistanship and Graduate Assistanship.

Teaching Assistanship requires helping teachers with their classes. Research Assistants help teachers with subjects such as library research and data analysis. Educational establishments and professors see supporting master’s students as a short-term investment; therefore it is quite hard to find a research assistanship as a master’s student. Graduate Assistants are responsible of helping teachers and their department.
